Through years of experience working with photonic foundries, we have good access and relationship with a number of dedicated or hybrid photonic foundries in the U.S. and abroad. Unlike digital CMOS processes which are well established standardized and photonic foundries are specialty foundries that processes vary from one to another even for similar material platform and design rules. We understand the pros and cons of their processes which is important for designing a product first-time right and for manufacturing. Our process integration team can help customers find the right foundry and process for a specific design or product and handle the frequent technical interaction with foundries especially for using optimized non-baseline processes which are commonly found in photonic industry.
